Drone360 Imagery

Service 05

Asset and structure inspection

Anything that currently needs a lift, a rope crew, a scaffold or a shutdown to look at properly. Close visual capture under a documented flight plan, delivered as imagery your reliability team can act on.

What you get

  • High resolution imagery indexed per asset, per elevation or per component
  • Findings located rather than loose, so a repair crew knows where to go
  • Paired thermal capture where a condition has a heat signature
  • Asset position files built from public and client datasets, delivered as KMZ before mobilisation
  • A repeatable capture standard so the next inspection compares to this one

How programs are run

  • Flight plans, standoff distances and pass sequencing agreed before mobilisation
  • Every asset captured to the same standard, so reporting is consistent across a site
  • Subcontracted pilots operate under a signed services agreement with insurance minimums enforced
  • One point of contact and one invoice regardless of how many sites are in the program

An 83 turbine wind farm program began with a position file built from the national turbine dataset and confirmed against client records, delivered as a KMZ before anyone mobilised.

Used for

7 applications
01

Wind turbine blades and towers

Close visual capture at standoff distances down to 8 metres, across a full site to one consistent standard, with reporting indexed per asset.

02

Roofs and building envelope

Condition imagery of membrane, parapets, flashing and rooftop equipment without roof access.

03

Communication and transmission towers

Antenna, mount and structure condition from standoff.

04

Stacks, flares and vessels

Debris and condition checked on tall stacks while they are in service and flaring, at height and without a shutdown or a rope crew.

05

Facades and high rise exteriors

Cladding, sealant, glazing and water ingress across a full elevation. The tallest tower in Alberta, at 250.9 m, was inspected this way by launching from the roof and working down the face.

06

Bridges and civil structures

Deck, girder, abutment and underside imagery where access is the constraint.

07

Post storm and insurance documentation

Dated, georeferenced condition record across a property or portfolio.

Common questions

Answered plainly

Do you inspect wind turbine blades?

Yes. Close visual inspection of blades and towers, run under a documented flight plan with standoff distances and pass sequencing set before mobilisation, so every blade on the site is captured to the same standard.

Can you handle sites across several provinces?

Yes. Multi site programs are delivered through a coordinated network of certified pilots in Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and Quebec, operating under the Drone360 services agreement with minimums of $2 million commercial general liability and $1 million RPAS liability. You hold one contract and receive one invoice.

How are asset positions confirmed before mobilisation?

Position files are built from public datasets and client records, cross checked, and delivered as a KMZ before anyone travels. On an 83 turbine site that step is what keeps a multi day mobilisation from going sideways on day one.

Who owns the imagery?

Copyright stays with Drone360 Imagery and clients receive a broad perpetual licence to use the imagery. Licensing terms are issued as a standalone document alongside the services agreement so there is no ambiguity later.
