Drone services for wind and solar in Western Canada
Renewable assets are spread out, numerous and awkward to reach. The work is won on planning: verified asset positions, a documented flight plan and a clear reporting format agreed before anyone mobilises.
Wind turbine close visual inspection of blades and towers runs under a flight plan with standoff distances and pass sequencing set in advance, so every blade on a site is captured to the same standard and the reporting is consistent across the whole program.
Solar array thermal screening locates cell and string anomalies across a utility scale site in a single operating window. Roughly 150,000 panels were screened in one day on a recent Alberta array, with radiometric capture so findings are measurements rather than impressions.
Asset position files are built from public datasets and client records, cross checked and delivered as a KMZ before travel. On an 83 turbine site that step is what keeps a multi day mobilisation from failing on day one.
